An exciting four day summer camp for rising 1st graders through rising 6th graders. Registration is open now but limited to the first 40 campers. Cost is $25 per camper. Registration closes June 7th, 2019 at 4:30pm.
Day 1 – FIRE DAY: Campers will learn about fire department tools such as the Jaws of Life, fire hoses and nozzles, learn how to use a fire extinguisher, learn home escape drills in a smoke house and watch firefighter extinguish a real car fire.
Day 2 – POLICE AND EMS DAY: Campers will interact with a Spanish Fort Police School Resource Officer, tour a police vehicle and get hands on with various police equipment. They will also get hands on a Marine Police boat and equipment and learn about emergency medical equipment and ambulances.
Day 3 – CPR DAY: Campers will learn hands only CPR, then watch a medical helicopter land where camper will have an opportunity to tour the aircraft and talk to the crew before the helicopter launches and leaves.
Day 4 – LIBRARY DAY: Campers will interact with Spanish Fort library staff, complete a fire related craft and receive certificates of camp completion.
